Overall, an alright stay. Positive: Great location!! Easy to access Negative: Unfortunately there were ongoing works being done to the hot water pipes in the building which meant no hot water between 10am-4pm which would have been nice to have been disclosed beforehand, or a discounted rate applied for the inconvenience. It also smelled strongly of paint on a couple occasions when painting was being done. The pillows were also pretty uncomfortable

Over priced and over rated. Positive: Pros - parking - kitchen with oven, microwave, ceramic plate, dishwasher & full size fridge/freezer - washing machine in the ensuite - air conditioned - heated towel rail - quiet Negative: Cons - Tiny apartment. (Actual living floor area 5.5m x 2.9m = 15.95m2 ) which includes the bed!! - Tiny balcony with views - except when seated. - Tiny metal dining table with 2 uncomfortable folding chairs - Nowhere else to sit and watch tv except the bed - To be honest - not a comfortable room - No live to air tv - you have to pay subscription fees for channels - No clothes drier - No tissues - No face washers - No room service - No information booklet for the apartment or surrounding amenities. With limited access to emails, we arrived at the building at the designated time to find no check-in desk and no one to help us. We discovered that this is an apartment building - not a hotel, and the apartments are privately owned, this particular one administered by Remax Queenstown. Only with the help of an owner of one of the apartments were we able to contact the agent and eventually gain access. While the apartment looks great on Bookings.com website, the reality is if you are staying for more than a couple of days it will be an uncomfortable stay as there is virtually no bench space in the kitchen for the simplest of food preparation and no comfortable chairs to sit on to watch tv (if you can get it working). The google tv was an example of why there should be an information booklet in the apartment as it required your personal information to gain program access and was a pain to setup. Cannot recommend this place and certainly would never consider staying again.
